The Pacifist Library: Fundamentals

For the ocassion of F.A.C.K (Forum for Contemporary art and Culture) in Cesena, Italy, May 26, 2013, the Pacifist Library in collaboration with a yoga instructor adapted Gene Sharp’s 198 methods for nonviolent action into a sequence of poses. The movement sequence is an exercise preparation for nonviolent action, with each pose training the body to resist injustice.
A series of 17 sequential poses were introduced with visitors invited to participate.
