A still from a current video/ performance project that I am working on.
I asked my father who was a dairy farmer for 16 years (18 years ago) to teach me how to milk a cow, via video chat.

this is a photograph of my father milking a cow in our farm in woodstock, new brunswick in july of 1978. a year later we moved to the kibuttz in israel and my father started working on the dairy farm. for the first thirteen years of my life my father was a dairy farmer. this photo is the starting off point for a piece that i am currently developing exploring locational identity and communication.
